PRAXIS CREW - MUSIC VIDEO

Project carried out within the scope of the Multimedia Communication Technologies course.
The general objectives of this piece consisted in the idealization, conception and execution of a music video, taking into consideration its functionality and aesthetic balance of the various visual elements, even though the main focus consisted on the technical and operational handling of vídeo editing and creation softwares.
Effectively, the creation and evolution of the piece started with the previous creation of the choreographies which were subquently filmed and, finally, edited and processed.
For the accomplishment of this project, the editing and creation of the music video was done in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Short Film - Falha do Sistema, directed by José Miguel Moreira

Project carried out within the scope of the Audio Systems and Techniques course.
This work consisted of editing the sound component of this short film, provided by the Professor of the course, in a 5.1 multichannel system . The project contains a soundtrack that encompasses environments, sound effects and music.
In this way, the main objectives were to explore and apply recording, editing, post-production, mixing and mastering concepts and techniques and to understand the process of audio production in a multimedia environment, with special emphasis in dialogue edition, creation and design of sound effects and soundtracks building.
For the accomplishment of this project, the mixing was done in Reaper.

SOUND DESIGN - VIDEO GAME

Project carried out within the scope of the Programming of Multimedia Systems course.
The general objectives of this piece consisted in the idealization and conception of the sound design for an action/adventure video game with a realistic character representation of the visual and sound spaces of the martial arts movies stereotypes.
The main project requirements were:
Soundtrack (2D audio, non-diegetic sound)
Chinese musical instrument (positional audio/3D, diegetic sound)
Forest sounds, including animals that vary according to these parameters:
Wind (0-1)
Rain (0-1)
Hours (0-24)
Crowd (0-1)
Human sounds such as: Footsteps, Jumps, Fights, etc…
For the accomplishment of this project, the editing and creation of the sound design was done in FMOD Studio.
